1. 

   Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech, The Gateway to Moroccan Adventure

   Your journey begins in the magical city of Marrakech, known as the “Red City” for its distinctive sandstone architecture. After arrival and hotel check-in, you’ll meet your guide for a trip overview. Spend the rest of the day exploring the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the souks, or enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in a rooftop restaurant.

2. 

   Day 2: Marrakech to Imlil, Hike into the High Atlas Mountains

   After breakfast, you’ll travel south to Imlil, a charming mountain village nestled in the High Atlas Mountains, just two hours from Marrakech. This is your launchpad for a breathtaking hike through Berber valleys, walnut groves, and ancient mule paths.

   Hiking Level: Moderate Distance: 6–10 km depending on your preference

   You’ll spend the night in a cozy Berber guesthouse, enjoy mint tea, and experience authentic mountain hospitality.

   Guided trek through terraced villages and waterfalls

   Berber lunch with a local family

   Overnight stay in a traditional mountain guesthouse

3. 

   Day 3: Imlil to Dades Valley, The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs

   Wave goodbye to the mountains and journey through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the highest road pass in North Africa. As you descend, the scenery shifts dramatically, from green valleys to stark, arid landscapes. You’ll stop at the iconic Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

   From there, continue to the stunning Dades Valley, where ancient fortresses rise from the rock and winding roads hug dramatic gorges.

   Scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains

   Visit Aït Benhaddou and Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Morocco)

   Overnight in a traditional kasbah hotel in Dades Valley

4. 

   Day 4: Dades Valley to Merzouga, Entering the Sahara

   This is the day many travelers dream of. After breakfast, continue towards Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. On the way, you’ll visit Todgha Gorge, a paradise for rock climbers and nature lovers.

   By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at the edge of the Sahara. Here, you’ll meet your camel caravan and embark on a camel trek into the dunes, just in time for a breathtaking desert sunset.

   Spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars, complete with music, traditional food, and the tranquility of the endless dunes.

   Highlights:

   Visit Todgha Gorge and fossil workshops

   Sunset camel trek across Erg Chebbi

   Berber music and campfire in the desert

5. 

   Day 5: Desert Adventure and Return Journey to Ouarzazate

   Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, it’s an experience you’ll never forget. After breakfast in the camp, you’ll ride back to Merzouga on camels or 4×4 vehicles, then begin your return toward Ouarzazate, retracing parts of the ancient caravan routes.

   Enjoy a relaxed evening in Ouarzazate with optional visits to the Atlas Film Studios or a sunset walk through the Taourirt Kasbah.

6. 

   Day 6: Return to Marrakech, Farewell to the Land of Magic

   On the final day of your 6 Days Hiking and Desert Tour, you’ll return to Marrakech via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. Take in the shifting colors of the mountains one last time and enjoy lunch in a roadside café before reaching the city.

   Once in Marrakech, you can explore further or enjoy a farewell dinner with your guide and fellow travelers.
