Frequently asked questions

Is the tour only for our group?
Yes. You travel in your own vehicle with your own driver, and no one else joins.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. Every tour can be changed to fit your interests, your budget and your time: we add a night, remove a stop or swap a city with you before the trip.
Where does the tour start and end?
At the airport or your hotel in the first city of the tour, and in the last city when it ends: our tours start in Casablanca, Marrakech or Fès, and each tour page shows where it ends. Airport pick-up and drop-off are included in every tour.
What vehicle do we travel in?
A private 4x4 or minivan with air conditioning, chosen for the size of your group.
Where do we sleep?
In riads with quiet courtyards, boutique hotels and desert camps that we choose ourselves for their comfort and their character. You can ask for more simple or more luxurious places.
Is there a guide?
Your driver speaks English and stays with you for the whole trip. In the medinas, a local guide takes over for the visit. All our drivers and guides speak English.
Do you plan Jewish heritage, honeymoon or family tours?
Yes. We plan Jewish heritage tours, honeymoons, family trips and other journeys around one theme. Tell us what matters to you.
What if we have dietary restrictions?
Tell us before the trip. Vegetarian, gluten-free or allergies: we speak directly with the people who cook for you.
Is there Wi-Fi?
In most riads and hotels, yes. In the desert the connection is weak.
When is the best time to go?
Spring and autumn are the most comfortable. Summer is very hot in the south, and desert nights are cold in winter.
Do we need a visa?
Citizens of the European Union, the UK, the US, Canada and many other countries do not need a visa for a stay of up to 90 days. Check with the Moroccan consulate for your passport.
Which currency is used?
The Moroccan dirham. Cards work in the cities; bring cash for small shops, the desert and tips.
Can we travel with children or older parents?
Yes. For families we choose stops that suit children and easier driving days; for older travelers, less walking, more breaks and comfortable rooms. Tell us their ages when you write.
How much does a tour cost?
It depends on your dates, the size of your group and where you sleep, so the price is given on request. Send us the tour from its page and we answer with the price.
How far ahead should we book?
For spring, autumn and the holidays, three to six months ahead. We can also arrange a trip at the last minute when we have room.
How do we book?
Send the tour or your trip from the site by WhatsApp or e-mail. We plan it with you, then a small deposit confirms the booking.
How do we pay?
In cash or by bank transfer.
What if we need to cancel?
Tell us as soon as you can. The sooner you tell us, the more of your deposit we refund, often most or all of it with enough notice. We can also move your trip to other dates.
